VIGIL MASS of Saturday evening Dec 31st will be recorded by LMFM for broadcasting on Sunday morning New Year’s Day.                                                                                      

THE FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY OF OUR LORD is on Fri Jan 6th. It is a Holyday of Obligation. Masses are as follows: Vigil on Thursday evening at 7.30pm, on Friday at 11.30am and 7.30pm in Athboy.                                                                                                    

BAPTISMAL MEETING: The next Baptismal meeting will take place on Wed next Jan 4th 2012 at 8pm in the Old Darnley Lodge Hotel. Bookings for baptisms at this meeting.

COMMUNION CALLS take place at the usual times on Thursday this week because Friday is a Holyday.                                                                                                                                          

FIRST FRIDAY: Masses for those whose names are on the List of the Dead will take place on Friday evening at 7.30pm and Saturday morning at 10am.                                              

BINGO:  The next bingo in aid of Church funds takes place on Sunday Jan 15th in the Hotel at 3pm.                                                                                                                                      

MONTHLY PADRE PIO MASS takes place on Wednesday 4th January at 8pm in St. Mary’s Church, Navan. Blessing with St. Pio’s Glove after Mass. GETTING MARRIED:                                                                     

Paper work for Church must be completed 6 months before wedding.

1) Documents required.                                                                                              

2) Recent Baptismal Certificate.                                                                                    

3) Confirmation Certificate.                                                                                       

4) Letters of Freedom.                                                                                                     

5) Pre-Marriage Course – Accord only pre-marriage course acceptable for Church wedding.                                                                                                                    

6) Complete Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form with priest.                                                                                

7) Comply with parish policies on music, flowers, photography etc.                                 

8) Prepare spiritually through reflection, scripture readings, Mass and Confession.                                                                                                                  

9) Prepare Liturgy with priest.                                                                               

10) Contact State Registers Office for Marriages, Deaths & Births.                            

11) Getting  married outside the parish requires more time.

Confirmation: Fri 24th Feb at 3pm.

First Communion: in Athboy on Sat 28th April at 10am, in Rathmore on Sun 29th April at 9am & in Rathcairn on Sun 29th April at 10.15am.
