MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST: We are recruiting new Ministers of the Eucharist. If anyone would like to become a Minister of the Eucharist could you please contact the Parochial House. Training will commence in February.
NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION ......Volunteer for the 50th International Eucharistic Congress: The 50th International Eucharistic Congress 2012 will take place in Dublin from 10th to 17th June 2012. Volunteers will have an integral role to play in the success of the Congress. Between two and three thousand volunteers will be needed during the week of the Congress and also to assist in preparations in the months leading up to the Congress. The Congress is recruiting volunteers for a wide range of roles such as administration, data entry, stewards, marketing, transport, meet & greet, multimedia, pastoral preparation and much more! O’GROWNEY N.S: Tenders are being invited for a design team for major rebuild project at O’Growney N.S. Details on etender.gov.ie and closing date for tenders is 3rd Feb. The school will be open for those interested in tendering on Monday 16th Jan from 3.30pm to 5.30pm only.
COFFEE MORNING: Athboy Community School are holding a coffee morning and raffle on Friday January 20th 2012 from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the lecture room. Proceeds of Coffee morning will go to SOSAD.
MEATH FIELD NAMES PROJECT is a local history project gathering old farm field names and associated lore all around the county.
