 BAPTISMAL MEETING:  The next Baptismal meeting will take place on Wed next Feb 1st       in the Old Darnley Lodge Hotel. Bookings for baptisms at this meeting.                                                                    

 FIRST FRIDAY: Next Friday Feb 3rd is the First Friday. Masses at 8am & 7.30pm. Communion calls to the housebound and sick at the usual times.                                                                                                                                                                  

BLESSING OF THROATS:  The Feast of St. Blaise falls on Friday Feb 3rd. Throats will be blessed after 7.30pm Mass on Friday.                                                                                                                                                              

CANDLEMASS – The Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord takes place on Thursday Feb 2nd. Candles will be blessed at Mass on Thursday.                                                                                                  

OFFERING DAY: Sunday next Feb 5th is an Offering Day for the support of the priests of the parish. (Candlemas Offerings)                                                                                                         

BINGO: The next bingo takes place on Sunday Feb 19th at 3pm in the Hotel in aid of Church funds.                                                                                                                        

TROCAIRE BOXES are available at the back of the Church.                                                                                                                                                          

WELCOME:  Our parish welcomes with great joy and congratulations those babies baptised recently: Joseph Kerrane, Lauren Maher, Harry Smith, Sarah Sheridan & Kate O’Connell. Many congratulations to their parents and godparents also.                                                                               

PADRE PIO MASS takes place on Wed next Feb 1st at 8pm in St. Mary’s, Navan. Blessing with St. Pio’s glove after Mass. Everyone welcome.                                                                                                

A MASS OF REMEMBRANCE will be held on Wed Feb 1st at 2.30pm in St. Loman’s Hospital Chapel, Mullingar, in memory of deceased patients and people buried in St. Loman’s Hosptial Cemetery from 1907 to 1970.                                                                                                                                    

A COURSE IN MINISTRY & EVANGELISATION is being offered by Maryvale Institue during the coming year.  It is a one year distance education course. A Study Day will be held in Castlepollard, Co. RETIREMENT CLUB meeting on Thursday next at 8pm in St. James’ Hall.
