Come and celebrate HOLY WEEK
On Palm Sunday Jesus entered Jerusalem.
Palms will be blessed and distributed at Masses. Fr Padraig will be available to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation after the 6.15 Vigil & 11.30am Mass this weekend. There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 9pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.

Tuesday April 16th – Mass & Penitential Service 7.30pm.

Chrism Mass 7pm Cathedral, Mullingar. Bishop Deenihan will be joined by priests and people from all over the diocese for renewal of priestly vows, blessing of the oil of baptism & anointing of the Sick and consecration of Chrism.

On Holy Thursday Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his apostles. He washed the feet of his friends, he changed bread and wine into his Body and Blood and said, “Do this in memory of me.”
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper 7.30pm
Adoration at the Altar of Repose until 10pm.

On Good Friday Jesus died on the Cross. We
remember how Jesus carried the Cross as a sign of his love for us.
Stations of the Cross 3pm.

On Holy Saturday night at 7.30pm we wait in
darkness to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We light candles to remember Jesus is our Light.

On Easter Sunday morning we celebrate Jesus is Risen! Alleluia!
Masses at the usual Sunday times – Rathmore 9am, Rathcairn 10.15am & Athboy 11.30am.

Confessions: Penitential Service Tuesday evening, confessions available after the ceremonies on Holy Thursday and Good Friday and at 2pm Holy Saturday.
