World Meeting of Families – an Update

Invitation: An open invitation is being extended to families around our parish to visit the Icon of the Holy Family  in the Cathedral in Mullingar from Friday June 29th until Monday  July 1st. at 11am. Parishioners are welcome to visit to pray before the icon.

Cemetery Improvements

Work in the cemetery is continuing.It will consist of new paths and the  re-surfacing of existing paths and  a new layout of future graves.

The areas that are being worked on will be cordoned off during working time for health and safety reasons.

Enrolment Ceremonies for First Holy Communion

Athboy Community School Mass

The Vigil Mass on Saturday evening next April 14th at 6.15pm will be celebrated by Bishop Smith in recognition and appreciation of the contribution of the Sisters of Mercy as Joint Trustees of Athboy Community School.

Mass on St. Patrick’s Day is as follows:

Vigil on Friday evening at 7.30pm,

Masses on Saturday March 17th at the usual Sunday times-
9am in Rathmore, 10.15am in Rathcairn and 11.30am in Athboy.

St. Patrick’s Day is a Holy Day of Obligation and a special day of Prayer for Emigrants.
