
Celebrating 180 Years of St James’ Church
Thank you to everyone who was part of our 180th Anniversary celebration during the week.
To all who attended our liturgies, picnic, tree planting and concert, to the clubs, voluntary groups and all who participated in making these days memorable and celebratory. Thank you to all who prepared the church grounds for our parish picnic, to Gillian and the volunteers who served refreshments, to all who donated food, to the three choirs for the sacred music, Readers and Minsters of Holy Communion, Stewards & Collectors, Mass Servers, Mary in the Sacristy, Carmel Rice for the beautiful floral arrangements, musicians from Comhaltas Tlachtga for the music during our picnic, members of the Parish Finance Committee and Parish Pastoral Assembly and to Susan our Parish Secretary.
Thank you to the Trustees of the Fair Green for facilitating the planting of the oak tree, Athboy Tidy Towns and to Trim Silver Band for the wonderful music.
