Commemoration of All Souls: Sunday 2nd November

“November is a time for remembering and praying for our loved ones who have gone before us in the hope of Resurrection.  It is a time when we are particularly conscious of those in our parishes who are grieving and all those families who have lost loved ones in the past year.  We invite the faithful to unite in prayer throughout the month of November in remembrance of our dead.”     Irish Bishops Conference  

Mass for all those on our new List of the Dead will be celebrated this Sunday November 2nd in Rathmore at 9am, Rathcairn at 10.15am and in Athboy at 11.30am.

Annual Remembrance Mass: for parishioners who have died in the past year and for the comfort of their families, will be offered next Saturday 8th November, at 6.15pm.  Please join in remembering your own deceased family members and friends during this time of prayer, music and reflection.

Adoration for the Holy Souls in Rathcairn Church, next Sunday, 9th November, immediately after Mass and concluding with Benediction at 9.30pm.

List of the Dead: envelopes are available at the box beside the ambo in Athboy Church.  Please return your completed list to the Parochial House or to the box in Athboy Church. Today and on First Fridays during the year, Masses are offered for the names on your Parish List of the Dead.
